Viña Leyda é destaque na última edição de Decanter
O relatório mais recente foi divulgado pela prestigiada revista britânica Decanter, onde, na seção intitulada "Panel Tasting Results: South American Whites – Beyond the Big Two”, foram listadas pontuações para mais de 89 vinhos. Nessa ocasião, Viña Leyda recebeu excelentes resultados em três de seus vinhos.
Leyda Single Vineyard Neblina Riesling 2015, do Vale de Leyda, destacou-se nessa ocasião com 92 pontos, após a degustação de três especialistas da revista: Anthony Rose, Patricio Tapia e Daphne Teremetz. O vinho foi descrito com a seguinte nota de degustação:
“Nariz cítrico muito expressivo com notas acentuadas de petróleo. Apresenta um traço fino de acidez fresca e salgada, com acabamento muito seco e impressionante caráter varietal”.
Enquanto isso, Leyda Single Vineyard Kadún Sauvignon Gris - uma das especialidades da enóloga Viviana Navarrete - também se destacou nessa edição com 91 pontos e a seguinte nota de degustação:
“Generosas camadas de frutas brancas maduras e especiarias, com um final mineral e longo. Agradável e refrescante - um típico Sauvignon Gris ”.
Note-se que no relatório os especialistas enfatizaram como, durante as degustações, Riesling era a variedade chilena que mais lhes interessava e como tinham provado vinhos deliciosos e refrescantes originários do vale de San Antonio. O resultado são as excelentes notas recebidas pelos vinhos Leyda que, em vinte anos, conseguiu se posicionar como a vinícola costeira mais aclamada do Chile.
