Sobresalientes puntajes para los Pinot Noir de Leyda en el informe 2021 de James Suckling.
En el más reciente informe de uno de los mejores críticos y referentes del mundo enológico, James Suckling, nuestros vinos de clima frío han sido altamente galardonados, destacando sobre todo nuestras variedades de Pinot Noir. Nuestros Reserva Pinot Noir 2020 y Single Vineyard Cahuil 2019, obtuvieron respectivamente 91 y 92 puntos de reconocimiento.
Nuestro LOT 21, se llevó el premio mayor con su cosecha 2019, recibiendo 93 puntos del crítico especializado
“Un tinto de cuerpo medio con aromas de lavanda, rosa mosqueta, frambuesa, regaliz y ralladura de limón. Taninos elegantes y fresca acidez con capas florales brillantes y berries crujientes. Excelente frescor y energía. Debes probarlo.” (trad. James Suckling, 2021)
Como es costumbre, nuestra prestigiosa línea LOT consiguió gran parte de los aplausos con sus diferentes variedades: LOT 5 Chardonnay 2019, LOT 4 Sauvignon Blanc 2020 y LOT 8 Syrah 2018 recibieron un puntaje de 92 puntos, destacando sobretodo por su frescura y balanceada acidez.
Por otra parte, nuestras variedades de Single Vineyard no se quedaron atrás. Single Vineyard Cahuil y Las Brisas, obtuvieron 92 puntos por sus cosechas 2019, mientras Single Vineyard Kadún ganó 91 puntos por su cosecha 2020. Pero sin lugar a dudas, el vino que destacó en esta línea fue nuestro Single Vineyard Canelo cosecha 2018, que fue reconocido con 93 puntos por su Syrah, que se caracteriza por sus intensas notas especiadas como pimienta blanca, laurel y olivas, mientras en boca muestra una textura firme y jugosa, elegante, de taninos sedosos y final de gran persistencia.
Finalmente, los exponentes de nuestra línea Reserva obtuvieron igualmente consistentes menciones. Reserva Pinot Noir y Sauvignon Blanc 2020, que fueron premiados con no menos que 91 puntos en su categoría.
Todos son logros que nos enorgullecen enormemente y nos inspiran a seguir trabajando y construyendo para ser la mejor viña de vinos premium de clima frío en el mundo.
