Viña Leyda obtains Gold Medal in the “Global Pinot Noir Masters 2019”
"The prestigious British magazine, The Drinks Business, recently published the results of the sixth version of its “Global Pinot Noir Masters”. Viña Leyda – pioneer of the valley with the same name – received Gold and Silver Medal on this occasion. "
For the sixth year in a row, one of the most important competitions took place in the “Global Pinot Noir Masters 2019”, in which a complete panel of experts, comprised of Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers, blind-tasted the maximum exponents of Pinot Noir in the world.
"In this latest version, the magazine drew attention to Leyda Lot 21 Pinot Noir 2016 with Gold Medal. This faithful exponent of cool-climate Pinot demonstrates the minerality and elegance that can be achieved in the Leyda Valley."
Furthermore, not only did it receive the highest score, but it was also selected by the Drinks Business as an outstanding Pinot Noir in the £20 - £30 price range.
