Viña Leyda sobresale en última edición de Decanter
Se dio a conocer el último reporte de la prestigiosa revista inglesa Decanter, el cual bajo el nombre de Panel Tasting Results “South American Whites” beyond the big two, entregó el listado de puntajes a los más de 89 vinos catados, oportunidad donde Viña Leyda recibió extraordinarios puntajes en tres de sus vinos.
Se trata de Leyda Single Vineyard Neblina Riesling 2015, proveniente del Valle de Leyda, que resaltó en esta ocasión luego de haber sido degustado por tres expertos del medio – Anthony Rose, Patricio Tapia y Daphne Teremetz-, quienes evaluaron a este vino con 92 puntos y lo describieron con la siguiente nota de cata:
“Expresiva nariz a cítricos con notas apetroladas acentuadas. Muestra una acidez larga y fresca, con un buen final seco junto a un impresionante carácter varietal”.
A su vez, Leyda Single Vineyard Kadún Sauvignon Gris – una de las especialidades de la enóloga de Leyda Viviana Navarrete – también sobresalió en esta última edición con 91 puntos, siendo descrito con la siguiente nota de cata:
“Buena complejidad de frutas blancas maduras y especias, con un final largo y mineral. Rico y refrescante".
Cabe destacar que dentro del reporte, los expertos destacaron que durante la degustación, el Riesling fue la variedad de Chile que más les interesó, donde degustaron vinos deliciosos y refrescantes, los cuales tienen su origen en el Valle de San Antonio. Esto, se ve reflejado en los extraordinarios puntajes obtenidos por los vinos de Viña Leyda, la cual ha logrado posicionarse en 20 años como la viña costera más premiada de Chile.
